Volunteers Building Strong, Healthy, and Prepared Communities
The Gateway District Health Department is dedicated to serving the public during times of emergency. As part of this commitment Gateway serves as the unit leader for the Gateway District Health Department Medical Reserve Corps (MRC). The MRC is a group of trained volunteers from the community that can be called upon when needed to assist with a number of emergency preparedness missions. Examples of areas where the MRC can assist include operating shelters, alternate care facilities, emergency pharmacy operations, animal response, family assistance centers and more. We are always looking for new volunteers. If you are interested in more information please click the Medical Reserve Corps logo. If you would like to volunteer or need more information please contact Mike Mattox at 606-674-6396 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
